The '58 Packard line was far from an inspiring swan-song for the brand. But the retrimmed Studebakers at least got an extra set of fins welded on top of the existing set to see the brand out.
A cheap solution? Certainly. But I've always had an affinity for these things. The wagons mostly (of which only 159 were made), followed by the hardtops.

Love those "bullet" lights in the top fin. Wonder what they were for?
